On a meaningful Saturday afternoon, May 31, 2025, the TMX Employees Credit Cooperative (TECMPC) officially opened a new chapter in its journey with the blessing and inauguration of its brand-new building located at Sitio Ihawan, Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City. Nestled just a few steps away from the main highway, two main bridges of Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City, from the Lapu-lapu City Hall and malls and other stores, the new TECMPC building stood proudly as members, officers, and special guests gathered to witness this important milestone in the cooperative’s continued growth.
The event kicked off with a solemn Eucharistic celebration from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, where prayers of gratitude and guidance were offered for the cooperative’s new home. Following the mass, the official blessing of the building and ribbon-cutting ceremony took place, symbolizing the cooperative’s fresh beginning in a new space designed to better serve its growing membership. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of joy, accomplishment, and shared purpose.
A highlight of the program was the inspiring address delivered by Board of Director Mr. Rodulfo Dakay, who reflected on the cooperative’s journey and the collective effort that brought this dream to life. General Manager Ms. Doris C. Cañares also shared a heartfelt message, expressing deep gratitude to everyone who played a role in making the project a success and reaffirming TECMPC’s mission of service to its members.
The inauguration was attended by cooperative officers, staff, long-time members, VIPs, and guests who all came together to celebrate not just a physical structure, but what it represents—a stronger, more connected community committed to financial empowerment and mutual care. True to TECMPC’s motto, “We Share Because We Care,” the new building stands as a lasting symbol of service, collaboration, and progress.
